The radio token can be taken from white villages, once you have placed the token in your settlement you can equip it to one of your tool slots. You do not have to activate the tool slot in order to use radio.

Tuning the Radio
To tune the radio, you must first equip it to a tool slot. Any slot will do. When equipped, a new HUD element will appear on your screen, it will say "RADIO" with the current frequency you are tuned to. To tune the radio, you can:
- Press the Escape key to release your mouse from movement.
- Click the new radio HUD element, and while your mouse is down, drag up or down. Dragging up will cause the frequency numbers to climb, while dragging down will cause the frequency to go down. Hitting the minimum or maximum frequency will cause the frequency to roll over.
